Westridge Florist have been a proud and locally owned Toowoomba Florist for well over a decade! Our passion for fresh and affordable market flowers has earned us a top spot in the Toowoomba Florist industry.

We are a Toowoomba Florist and this is OUR story.

Believe it or not, we started as a gorgeous flower farm. It was a good but hard life and after severe repercussions form the September 11 attacks, I felt the need for change. At the time we lived closer to Dalby and Oakey but I needed a new beginning and somewhere bigger. I considered Toowoomba and gradually fell in love with this city. I knew it was the perfect place to live out my passions and build a business that I would love and be able to share with others.

Toowoomba is rich and diverse in culture and festivities. You could want for nothing here with all the wonderful shops and little hubs hidden around every corner. The people are generous and, for good reason, very proud of their home. All the while, we still love the beautiful places that surround us. From the Sunshine Coast, Oakey, Gold Coast and Highfields to Meringandan and even the more remote Murphy’s Creek, we love it all!

When I first moved to Toowoomba with my family, I had opened my little store at Westridge Shopping Centre. I’ll be forever grateful for the support received from the neighboring retailers and fellow shoppers. In this city we are very lucky to have exceptional florist shops and even luckier that our staff at Westridge Florist have a great relationship with the other Toowoomba florists. This keeps us all in friendly competition which encourages our stores to improve and innovate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One of our favorite methods of keeping our Toowoomba Florist up to date is investing our time into training. Earlier this year we traveled to Brisbane to complete a Tropical Flower Workshop which you can read about on our blog. It was a rewarding experience. We loved making new friends with the Redlands Florist and sharing ideas and tips between us Toowoomba & Brisbane girls. Later in the year we will be attending the Australian Flower Festival. Our staff are super excited!

We are very lucky that our city is so close to Brisbane. Our florist shop has it own delivery van and we provide our own delivery service, making certain your flowers are tracked and delivered in a timely fashion. We also service a wide area such as Dalby, Oakey, Crows Nest, Clifton, Helidon, Gatton, Pittsworth, Mt Gravatt, Warwick, Stanthorpe and much more!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Every Monday morning we now hit the Brisbane Flower Markets to source the freshest flowers straight from the farm. Our florists actually hand pick everything and make use of the delivery van to do the Brisbane to Toowoomba run. They have a lot of fun on their early excursions and bring back something new each week. I’m always so inspired by the beautiful flowers and the people involved in the florist industry. They are open for great chats about everything flowers and are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By personally visiting the flower markets we get to see new trends and varieties as well as different designs and unique arrangements. Our florists are inspired each week to create the most amazing floral designs using the freshest flowers straight from the FarmGate.  We were also inspired to pass on the amazing value and quality by starting our FarmGate Market Flowers. At Westridge Florist we are incredibly blessed to be more than just a team of florists. We are happy friends making beautiful flower designs in our happy place and we love sharing them with all the new friends we meet.
