As a Florist, we often do Highfields flower delivery but rarely visit for flower-related trips. I took an excursion to check out some of the amazing Carnival of Flowers Prize Gardens. Wow, the Highfields flowers were gorgeous! Each year I try to see a few gardens and I particularly loved the Highfields gardens.
The climate is slightly cooler than Toowoomba and the roses in particular love it. I always find so many different interpretations of beauty with some choosing to decorate in vintage car ornaments and others using iron decor. No matter the flowers and decorations, everything was stunning and so different!
As a florist we are usually creating flowers and giving them to our courier for same day flower delivery in Highfields. It was great to get out and view all the stunning gardens for ourselves. We are so close to Highfields that it’s just a local trip for our courier. I am very inspired by all the gardens that I saw as my own garden is in Murphys Creek where it is much hotter. While I have a lot of features that I love, it’s a work in progress and I won’t be entering the prize gardens anytime soon but maybe one day!
The gardens in Toowoomba were also stunning and our route to work even showcased a few of the smaller spots. I think it’s absolutely amazing to fill a whole city and surrounding areas with arrays of flowers and greenery. The air itself seems to smell sweeter and it’s great to get out and support everyone who gets involved in this beautiful venture.
It is such a privilege to be invited into people’s gardens and I thank all the people who work so hard to create such excellent displays. Thank you so much Highfields, from Westridge Florist!
