At Westridge florist we are passionate about what we do. Our product of the week this week is “make a wish”.
Make a wish is available from our website or you can phone us and request it. The flowers are arranged in a craft box which can be recycled with a minimum of cellophane used (we are trying to be conscious of not contributing to more rubbish and landfill). We use a water sponge in the craft box so that the flowers are never out of water. This means they will arrive delivered in the same perfect condition in which they leave the florist shop.
Make a wish is a very vibrant colour combination consisting of hot pink, lime green and vibrant orange. It is young modern and uplifting colours makes it the perfect gift. If you could make a wish for someone this is the perfect way to convey that thought.
The flowers we have chosen to use in this design are Asiatic lilies. Lilies in your flower arrangement will be quite closed and the beauty of this is that they will last a long time. Not only will they last a long time, but the arrangement will be growing and becoming more beautiful every day.
That is something we love about lilies; they get better as time goes on. Lime green button chrysanthemums are also long-lasting flowers. When you think of chrysanthemums you may think of an old-fashioned boring flower. But button chrysanthemums are funky cool and well lime green!!
We also use pink spray carnations which have a nice perfume adding yet another element to the design. Then gorgeous hot pink roses and well roses are always classic and classy. So really this design has everything packed into a beautiful array of flowers.
