At Westridge weddings we love adding new stories to our wedding gallery. We love talking to our gorgeous brides and getting to see the fabulous photos. This week our congratulations go to Sharnae and Matthew Rummenie . We enjoyed working with our feature wedding’s bride Sharnae.
Sharnae does not live in Toowoomba but we were able to schedule appointments and have flowers available for her to choose from and to match her color scheme. While our bride was understanding that we can’t guarantee the exact flowers chosen in advance will be available (and that sometimes further consultation is necessary), we were able to source all of the flowers. The flowers were a perfect combination to compliment a stunning bride and a beautiful wedding. Here is a peek at the wedding of Sharnae and Matthew.
In three words describe your Wedding Day
Magical, Amazing and Memorable. Oh, and also very windy haha.
Do you have any tips or tricks for future brides organizing their special day?
I would definitely recommend getting a wedding planner of some sort. It really helped me with all the appointments, payments and planning leading up to the wedding. Also, I know weddings can be stressful but try and enjoy every moment of it even the planning stage. Your wedding day will go super fast so enjoy everything.
If you had the chance, would you have changed anything about your wedding?
I think there is always something that doesn’t go right at weddings. At my wedding I was trying to overcome laryngitis and the day was so windy I was nearly falling over in my dress because the wind was so strong haha. But in the end some things are out of your control and the windy weather made for great photos and it definitely makes your wedding unique and memorable.
What was your absolute favourite moment on the day?
My favourite moment of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing my husband’s reaction that moment is truly so special and of course getting married. Finally saying “I Do” and being pronounce husband and wife. To me that was amazing as that’s what all the planning and the day was leading up to.
Do you have any marriage advice?
I haven’t been married for very long but I would say love. If you love each other everything will fall in place. Always say I love you. And take in every day and every moment because times goes by very fast.
*Special thanks to Lindy Yewen for the amazing photography, Kim Hannaford for the delicious cake, Sarah Schrodter for the gorgeous makeup and Erin Flemming for the stunning hair styling.
