There have been so many challenges worldwide for the past 2 years and while it is a new year, we are undisputedly going to face challenges in 2022. As a florist we have faced lock downs and flower shortages but just like everyone else we have adapted.
One good thing that has come out of Covid19 is people are stopping to smell the flowers, quite literally now. Appreciating the people and the good things we have. This puts a florist in a unique position of being able to help people to have fun and celebrate something as simple as Valentine’s Day. This year we aim to provide the best value that we can
Best Value:
To ensure that our customers get the best value possible we have decided to only buy Australian grown roses with the exception of one of our favourites: the gorgeous and stunning rainbow rose.
Why are we only buying local roses to sell?
Its because we can’t control the quality of imported roses. The roses look fresh but if they have been held in cold storage to capitalise on the higher prices due to demand, this impacts how long the roses last for our customer’s. This does still happen with local roses but it’s not as common.
We are suggesting that this year instead of just buying roses, that you break tradition and allow us to choose the best value and available fresh flowers on the day, and that you choose a market special of mixed flowers and roses.
We will have available 3 sizes, standard at $70, classic which has 50% more flowers at $105 and deluxe which will have 100% more flowers at $205 and 3 colour choices pastel, bright and rustic.
If that isn’t enough, for the grand deluxe go straight to Grande Amore, our grand love bouquet.

Some ideas to dress up your day:
Sure, you can book a restaurant or a getaway but Valentine’s day is on a Monday this year so for a lot of us it’s an evening event rather than a day or weekend. So, if you are staying in how about making the evening a bit special, here a few ideas to get you started.
One thing that is plentiful for our Valentine’s Day Flowers in Toowoomba, is rose petals….so why not get a bag of rose petals and make a love heart out of petals for your partner to show you really love them. Candles are always lovely and great if you haven’t had time to spring clean the house for your romantic evening. Atmosphere is everything. Add in some nice music and to ensure you don’t spend the evening in the kitchen how about preparing a platter of snacks for the evening. You can order platters made to order or you can get creative and make your own and add some wine or favourite beverage and have a lovely romantic evening.
