At our flower studio we wire all our gerberas to ensure that the blooms don’t droop their little heads as a result they stay happy.  So because gerberas come in many colours so if you would prefer a different colour combination all you have to do is pop it in notes when you order. Some nice colour combinations are all the different pinks, this is very bright uplifting and nurturing perfect for someone who needs cheering. Add a few whites and you have a gorgeous feminine display. Or get creative and tell us what colours you want. The key word here is fun.

Where we source our gerbera flowers.

Our flowers are sourced directly from local growers and are therefore fresh and affordable, giving our customers the best value for money. At Westridge florist we are always supporting our local growers. Gerbera need to be very fresh because unlike other flowers like lilys and roses that are still blooming gerbera are already complelty bloomed. So by sourcing the freshes local product we can get this will allow the gerbera to have longevity. I do get amazing feedback from customers who are amazed how long their gerbera last. At Westridge Florist we like to share a bit of flower lore  for  your interest, Gerbera L. is a genus of plants in the Asteraceae. Named in honour of  German botanist and medical doctor Traugott Gerber.
