Relaxing Rose Tea
Makes: Approx. 1 cup of loose leaf tea
Ingredients:
5 tbsp. dried rose petals
5 tbsp. dried chamomile buds
3 tbsp. dried lavender buds
Optional:
1 tbsp. fresh mint leaves
When shopping for ingredients, make sure they are organic and chemical-free. All of the above can be sourced at your local health store or even grown in your very own garden!
Method:
1 . Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container. Store the mix in a cool, dry place.
Note: We find glass mason jars stunning as you can display the beautiful mix in your kitchen.
2. When ready to use, steep about 1 tablespoon of the loose mixture in 1 cup of hot water for 5 minutes or longer, depending on how strong you like your tea.
For added flavor or sweetness, mix in a tsp of honey or a natural sugar cube.
This Relaxing Rose Tea can be served hot on a beautiful Winter day or iced to chill out those gorgeous Summer months. We hope you have fun trying our Relaxing Rose Tea recipe. It’s especially fun to grow your own herbs and flowers to dry and create your own special blends!
